Fire Safety - Scotty fire fighting device described at Summer Meeting

It is an effective way of deploying a foam surfacant/wetting agent suitable for Class A fire scenes from a 3/4" garden hose. Attached is a jpeg with more information on this product.
Sakinaw Lake fire pump stations
July 30, 2009 - 6:46pm — CommunicationsWith the large house fire experienced at Ruby lake Last August, the Sakinaw Lake Community Association thought there should be a complete inventory and operation audit done on all of the fire stations around Sakinaw. As of July 2009 all 11 of the Sakinaw fire pump stations have been completely checked out and are fully operational.
All Sakinaw fire stations received the following:
• A complete equipment inventory and safety check with all defective equipment replaced.
• A complete fire pump inspection and operations check with all pumps tested and any repairs needed were done.

Egmont & District Volunteer Fire Department
April 19, 2009 - 4:32pm — CommunicationsThe Egmont & District Volunteer Fire Department (E.V.F.D.) is now responding to emergency calls in the wider community, assisted by the Pender Harbour Volunteer Fire Department. The E.V.F.D. can only respond to a very small section of Sakinaw Lake (the very tip of the north end of the lake) but everyone is welcome to check out their new fire hall.
